1st Women International Chess Tournament -
Memorial of Krystyna Hołuj - Radzikowska
under the auspices of Dorota Idzi - the President of the Polish Association of Women Sport and the member of the Polish Olympic Commitee Board
The purpose of the tournament is to
honor a memory of Krystyna Hołuj - Radzikowska – one of the best Polish players, woman grandmaster and nine times Polish Champion
promote a development of young Polish women chessplayers
1. Date and venue:
6-14.08.2011, Warsaw, Poland. The tournament will take place in the chess club next to the Polish Chess Federation at Al. Jerozolimskie 49 (city centre).

The players have to insure themselves for health and accident risk.

Prizes are not shared.
All prizes are shown before taxes, the income tax of 10% will be deducted. According to the Polish law all prizes below 760 PLN are free of taxation. The Organizer makes the efforts to raise the prize fund and give additional special prizes.
10. Technical regulations:
The tournament will be played according to the FIDE rules.
Any player who arrives at the chessboard more than 15 minutes after the start of the round shall lose the game.
No draw agreement by the players are allowed before move 30. Any such draw claim will be permitted only through the Chief Arbiter in the following cases:
a triple – repetition of the position
a perpetual check
The final standing of the players will be determined according to points.
In case of sharing of places – the following criteria will be decisive:
1. Sonneborn – Berger
2. System Koya
3. A greater number of wins
4. the result of the direct matches between players
A participation at the drawing of lots, Opening and Closing ceremonies is obligatory for each player.
11. Accommodation and board:
The Organizer offers accommodation in the Hotel Metropol (ul. Marszałkowska 99a, Warszawa) from 5th of August till 14th of August.
All invited participants receive the accommodation and full board according to the description in the individual agreement.
12.Rate of play and time control:
The round-robin tournament with 12 participants (11 rounds) for WGM-title-norms.
Time rate: 90 min. for 40 moves + 30 min. for the rest of the game, with an increment of 30 seconds per move starting from move 1.
13. Rights of the Chief Arbiter:
In case the first round of the double round day is prolonged the Chief Arbiter can postpone the following round. It is up to the Chief Arbiter to indicate the exact time of the following game.
14. Final notices:
